BEST ANSWER: Yes it will work for hot weather
Is this sold. In stores?
Julie B on Jun 13, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I run 60 wt in summer because of Texas heat and the nature of the twin cam ,which runs hot. I am sure you can find 60 wt at A-line for other Auto parts stores or they can order it for you. Personally,I would just as soon get it sent to me by Dennis Kirk .Enter

60wt for OLD bikes
My 71 Ironhead lives happily with this oil. 60wt is getting harder and harder to find. The motor company stopped making bikes that needed this stuff 30 years ago after all. Thinner, modern multi-weights just don't cut it, if you expect to have actual oil pressure on a hot day.
