are these 9 inch rotors?
A shopper on May 12, 2017
BEST ANSWER: They are actually 9 1/8" in diameter so I guess you could call them a 9" rotor. They are a stock replacement for the Tri-Glide rear rotors.
How would be best way to remove black coating on rotor surface?
A shopper on Jun 8, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Let the brake pads do it
Does the black finish on rotor surface need to be removed for pads to work properly?
A shopper on Jun 8, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes its a good idea to remove the black finish or it will end up on the brake pads steel wool or very fine sand paper will do the job. I found out the hard way and had to remove and clean the brake pads. They say it will burn off but it won't, it will burn into the brake pads making them less efficient.
What is the thickness of the rotor?
A shopper on May 5, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I really can help you with that But now rotor and pads tmy bike stop better now then when I ride it off the show room floor.

I replaced both rotors and installed new brake pads, rear brakes do not stop the trike nearly as well as the original pads and rotors did, just not happy with the performance.
