installed lights on the front of my 02 VTX1800c quality wise the chrome is nice for the money a good value. only bad thing was they came with absolutly no instructions or wiring diagram. they are dual function and only have 2 wires this confused me at first but when I called their tec support team they tested the lights for me and found out that they were a self grounding light so if you have a bike with a 3 wire system (for the front) cap the ground wire on your bike and hook the red wire to the turn signal wire and the black wire to the running light wire and you shoul be good to go. My hats off to the tec support team at Dennis Kirk.
Chrome casing is of good quality. Inside light holder, wiring, and lens covers/o-ring are a bit cheap and do not work very well. Wiring pulled out with very little tension, so I had to rewire the lights. Replacement bulbs are hard to find and are not easy to get out of the light. I added a bead of RTV around the lenses in order for moisture to not penetrate the case and blow the bulb. The light then became so hot that it melted the lens cover on a long trip.
The case however is of excellent quality and very stylish, I now have a $38 light fixture that I'm using with LED replacements.
