I have a harley 16" wheel can u tell me how this attaches to the sprocket??
A shopper on Jun 24, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I don't know it you have done this before.

First, Before you do anything, This it's Critical, my manual says take measurements both sides from the Center of the Rear Wheel Axel to the Center of the Bolt holding the Swing Arm in Place. This is the Alignment/Distance.

Then do what ever you need to do to Remove The Rear Wheel completely.

Remove the 5 or 6 Bolts holding the Pulley on the Rear Wheel and leave the Pulley on the Wheel.

Place correctly this chrome cover on top of the Pulley and reinstall the Bolts, Torquing to Spec. Now lube up the Wheel Bearings, the Axle for the re-Installation. Reinstall the Rear Wheel checking the Alignment/Distance from the Center of the Axel to the Center of the Bolt holding the Swing Arm in Place or as your Manual says. Make sure nothing touches that Pulley Cover while you do this. Me I put Plastic Wrap over the Chrome Pulley cover to protect it.

Installing the Rear Wheel is a pain to me because when you Tighten up the Rear Axle the Alignment/Distance might be out a little. After you get it right Check the Pulley Belt making sure it's not rubbing on the tire. To do this Spin The Wheel Backward. The last thing you want is to have the Tire Damage that Belt. If it needs adjusting, do it.

Take it slow and Easy...!!!
