If I have the sissy bar side plates, this should just bolt right up, correct?
Bradbash on Mar 12, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Hey, yeah if you have plates like the one below with the square hole, then it'll go right in. There may be an issue with the angle of the plates if you have them tightened already. For mine, I loosened the plates first and then put the sissy bar on, because there was a slight camber in em. Then I tightened the sissy bar first and then the plates last. However, one of the screws fell off the sissy bar, probably due to vibrations, so I used blue loctite and had a spare one, and no other problems like that occured.
Since this review is regarding the Bar Pad, I'll go ahead and say that it doesn't slide up or down, and my girl had no complaints when resting against it. Hope this helps
