I purchased this Devol Engineering Rear Disc Guard at the beginning of this season for my rm125, on the idea that it looked solid, looked great and would provide the protection for the rear disc. The first rock I clipped, bent the thing to where it looked like a potato chip. Yes it "protected" the brake as was the purpose, but "one and done"? Not was I was looking for. The metal is soft, flimbsy, and easily bendable, ( I had to bend it back with my hands to keep it from grinding down the brake after the inital hit. ) Looks great, fits great, but quality, not so great. My advice, go with the shark fin designs such as the MSR products or anything similar. Even if it costs a few extra bucks, it'll be worth it instead of replacing this one every riding season! Life is for riding!!!!!
