Denso Iridium Spark Plug - IW16
  • Because the iridium electrodes of these plugs can be shrunk to only 0.4mm, voltage requirements decrease while firing performance improves
  • Six times harder than platinum, iridium does not melt in temperatures above 4000 deg. F
  • Ground electrode features a tapered cut and U-groove that forms a large volume area for the flames center
  • 360 deg. laser welding of electrode provides a seal that resists wear even in the worst conditions
  • Replaces NGK #'s: BP5ES, BPR5ES, BP5ES-11, BPR5ES-11 and BPR5EVX-11

Whats the optimal gap for these plugs?
HD badboy on Dec 31, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I've used these plugs for a while in three different bikes 1998 evo heritage,2005 TC88 heritage, and a 2008 96 ultra with 117 kit in it runs really good never had an issue yet they're gapped ready to go out of the box they will go for a much longer time than the regular plugs and i never had a failure yet. Hope this helps,

They Work!
Replaced the stock Harley plugs and the bike runs great! They came pre-gapped at .040 so they were ready to go.

iridium spark plug
It is very good for high temerature wear. I think they last twice as long as other spark pluds. I am very satisfied with this product.

Bike runs better
I put these in my Vulcan a few years ago and I swear it ran better and was a touch more powerful. Same goes for the FXD, faster, smoother, better. Great plugs!
