Solid construction. And yeh, I hear the "crushed-up can works just as well" argument. But I don't remember the last time I happened across an empty can when I really needed one. And it's two bucks for pete's sake. Add it to your order while you're thinking about it. You'll be glad you did.
Does what it's supposed to. If you ever park on new/hot asphalt, loose dirt..you should have one of these. I parked in a lot once that had fairly new asphalt, when I came out..my bike's stand was so far into the asphalt, I almost wasn't able to get it pulled back upright again...now, I have one of these and won't have to worry about my bike falling over again.
this is the best $1.99 insurance you can buy to ensure your bike is not damaged by falling over due to the kickstand sinking into the blacktop or grass.its lightweight and will fit just about anywhere, even your vest or jacket pocket and at this price, you can and should, buy several.
This is a nice little thing to have in your saddle bags or on you whenever you go riding. Like I've seen in other posts, it could stand to be a little bigger. If the ground is really grassy it becomes a pain trying to use your foot to line it up with your kickstand. Still, it's better than having nothing. I do wish it came in more colors. For the few times I've used it already, it does exactly what it says it does. It's not super expensive, but I still think it's a bit much for a simple piece of plastic. Wish I'd have come up with the idea.
