I was looking for some way to adjust the riding position on my Buell 1125r. Rearsets are expensive and only have a few adjustments. A fellow Buell rider on BadWeb suggeted I try Cycle Pirates 360 Pegs. I had no idea what he was talking about and had never heard of them. Well now I am telling anyone who wants to know about Cycle Pirates and this great product. At 6'-4" and nearly 50 years old I needed to get more room and be able to tuck in better at speed. With the Cycle Pirates 360 mount and pegs lower and back more than stock I now can get lower on the bike and be comfortable at the same time. Easy to install with nothin more than a pair of allen wrenches. Sturdy and hard anodized they are holding up great.
Choosing between a $500 adjustable rearset and the Cycle Pirates Adjustable footpeg mount is a No Brainer. The pegs on the YZF R1 were obviously designed for a size 7 foot and a large arch - I needed some room - the Cycle Pirates Adjusters did just that - It's like finding one inch in any direction to best fit you to the shifter or brake or just general peg height.
