Custom Dynamics Standard DOT Flasher - EDFR
  • Use when replacing stock turn signal with LEDs
  • One unit is needed when converting to LEDs on front and rear

NOTES:
Replaces all 2 or 3 pin 12 volt flashers with working load from .05 amp up to 10 amps

These units are not self canceling. Your motorcycle MUST have a replaceable two wire flasher relay to use these products. A few motorcycles have flasher relays which cannot be replaced due to the fact that they are integrated into other electronics. Most flasher relays are located under the seat or behind the headlights. Please review your repair manual, or contact Dennis Kirks technical support as to whether your motorcycles flasher relay is replaceable

i have a 2002 kawi zx1200c my blinkers and 4 way flashers stopped working completely could it be the flasher ?
john t on Jan 15, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Of course it could be however before I presumed a failed flasher I would first look for a blown fuse, next I would check for a detached connector at the 12v input to the flasher. I would also verify that you have nominal 12v on the wire supplying power to the flasher. If none of these reveal the cause I would confirm that the flasher itself is defective by bench testing it. Can be done either by removing it from the bike and detaching all wires (remember where they go, a photo is my favored record keeper). If the flasher is determined to really be the cause then the Dennis Kirk one is great !
My Valkyrie has a 3 wire flasher. Which one do I eliminate??

BEST ANSWER: I am not sure, this may not work for you
Will this work for All 4 LED turn signals?
Cesar L on May 19, 2017
BEST ANSWER: yes
Why do my turn signals only work when they want? It works off and on when on a bumpy rode. I have a 2000 Honda RVT1000R RC51. Do I need this item?
Tito H on May 7, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Sounds to me like you have a loose connection. This is made to slow down the flash when you put LED flashers on the bike.

Works With Positive Ground Systems
Works well on my '74 Norton Commando which is a positive ground electrical system.

Another brand from another vendor did NOT.

Seems to be indifferent to lower battery voltage, flashes reliably about 1 per second with 1156 conventional tungsten bulbs installed. Have not tried with LEDs.

Worked like a charm
Cut the plug and wired into 80 Sportster.Only running 2 single LED tag bolts per side and it worked perfect. Small enough to fit in headlight bucket. I did trim off the sturdy looking mounting tab
