I have been a motorcycling enthusiast t for about 40 years . People in motorsports know quality tools with organization mean everything . This stand is top shelf . For any bike without a exhaust that runs underneath the frame otherwise you would have to remove the pipe . You need something then that is like a U allowing the pipe to pass through while lifting at the frame tubes this will not work . However on many newer bikes like my KTM EXC 520 with a up tube exaughst this works excellent . It is heavy but managable . The fact it folds flat is great for transport aids in packing orgnization . They make it in aircraft aluminum to which reduces the weight to 19 pounds but costs almost double .. Very stable on any flat surface the size of its footprint . Take a small carpet when in the field or rubber mat with raised edges to contain fallen bolts and screws to supplement it . LIfts both wheels off the ground in a stable fashion at the same time . Make sure to check your bikes lifting requirements the KTM has 16.5 inches of ground clearance this lifts it up a inch more at rest .Comes completely assembled with the abillity to make minor adjustment on lift height . It is not cheap but how much is it worth to not see your bike tip over on a hot sweaty day with the clutch basket exposed in the sand between rides fixing a problem ? . Bike lifts easy with leg force and a little effort pulling back on the bars . This stand has can be used by a crew member with lifting limitations due to a back , neck , issue or saves a rider energy to apply elsewhere . I love the stand and use it in the garage too as it keeps the bike completely upright with no lean saving space while inviting maintenence . Congradulations to Sam Schmidt Racing for winning the pole at the 100% Indianapolis 500 . True Americans who adapt , improvise and overcome just like our servicemen and women who will be working this Memorial Day God Bless .
