OMG
DO NOT BUY THE SHORTER BACKREST...if you have a wife or girlfriend riding with you! MY WIFE LOVES IT!!! It fits higher in the back, providing not only comfort, but security. I had a slightly shorter, and smaller backrest which was useless. My wife could live on the bike now. The extra large contoured pad is unbelievable she says! MY WIFE MADE ME POST THIS TO THE REST OF YOU OUT THERE CONSIDERING SMALLER OR SHORTER BACKRESTS. Buy it now, you will not be disappointed.

This sissy bar is far from being "sissy"
We just received and installed the tall round sissy bar from Dennis Kirk for our 2007 Honda VTX1300R. The side bars leading up to the pad are solid steel and definitely heavy duty. The pad is large with a nice contour shape with well designed stitching. In addition, we ordered the luggage rack which was a perfect match and fit with the sissy bar. The installation was quick and easy. We are 110% satisfied and will be ordering more bike accessories from Dennis Kirk to enhance our bike riding experience!!

Better than I had expected! The back pad matches my seat. Extremely easy to install, took about 15 minutes. My wife is very happy, she said the back pad is the perfect height and provides comfortable support for any length ride.

Perfect for my V- Star!!
I just bought an 1100 V-Star Classic that was in serious need of a sissy bar/ backrest. Took the back roads to Rush, bought this kit which claimed to only fit the Custom, and bolted her on in the parking lot with my grey (metric) allen key set from Sears. The instructions told me to use the washers in the kit for my Classic, but the bolts would only work with one washer on each side. I also used the factory bolts as the new ones were too short for the Classic. This thing looks like it has always been there, and the height is perfect for passenger comfort. Rock solid and dead sexy. I contemplated the short, but am so glad I decided on the tall. This is what your cruiser needs right here.

Great Back Rest
The quality of the backrest was nice and fit my V2K great. Also a better option than the short bar of the same style that cobra offers. Wife loves it.

I bought this Cobra tall round backrest for my new '09 Suzuki c50 Boulevard. it is very good quality, looks great and is a fraction of the cost of a factory backrest. I will definitely buy this item again for any future bikes. Dennis Kirk was lightning fast too. I had it in 2 business days after ordering! Thanks!

Product arrived as promised,install took a little longer as I had saddlebags & hoped the bolts supplied would be long enough. Ran all bolts through their respective parts before install as some reviews had threading problems mentioned, I had none, and assembly went smoothly.
Very happy will still be back for more purchases.
