If you are running an aftermarket exhaust, this kit is a must have. I installed this in my wifes bike last weekend. It is less cold natured, has crisper throttle response, and she swears it has more power.
What can I say, its a jet kit. If you haven't done this before I would recommend getting instructions for carburetor removal. Instructions for installing the jet kit are ok. Along with new pipes it really helped with performance.
this was just what my 2004 vtx 1300c with cobra slipons needed to run the way the factory should have had it running easy to tune and install if you follow the directions and have a basic knowledge of a carb
With a little help from Youtube and the shop manual I had no problem at all installing this kit, even though I am fully aware the word "Carburator" is French for "Don't mess with it." When I first installed the Cobra Drag Pipes on my 2006 Honda VTX 1300c I thought I had gotten away with skipping the Jet Kit, but deceleration backfires proved otherwise. This kit did the job! And as always, thanks to Dennis Kirk for their OUTSTANDING service in getting the parts to me quickly, I am always amazed by them!
