My Cobra Package
Recently installed the PowerPro HP 2into1 exhaust, FI2000R02 fuel module, and PowerFlo Air intake on my 2011 Dyna FXDC, all made by Cobra. DennisKirk made ordering, shipping, and delivery too easy. Everything arrived safely and on schedule. I'm no mechanic or genius but I will say all 3 components were very easy to install, the instructions were easy to read, and in about three hours total I was firing up the bike for a test ride. After a 20mi ride, everything worked great, I like the new sound even though it isn't ridiculously loud, the bike responds and breaths better, and I am going up another 10mph before I have to shift up to the next gear. The change and improvement in performance and sound are real, as proven by the before and after videos I took. I also like the look of a Dyna with a 2into1 exhaust, and the air intake looks high speed, very nice chrome finish. Flawless!

Louder than expected
The quality and fit of the pipes and heat shields were great. The muffler on the other hand was hard to slip over the ends of the pipes. I had to use a block of wood and beat it to get it far enough on the pipes and I still think it should've been on a little further. It was just a fraction of a millimeter past the gap where the clamps tighten the muffler end to the pipes. Then where the muffler bolted to the saddle bag frame I had to bring the bracket in so much for the mounting bolt holes to line up. Then the muffler bracket rubbed on the saddle bag frame because the muffler being so far down you couldn't center the rubber isolation pad. With much frustration, adjustment and tweaking I was able to get it bolted together but with the muffler bracket against the saddle bag frame. I wondered about how Cobra expected the muffler to fit if it would slide over the pipe end far enough and still not be back far enough to bolt on the saddle bag frame. I could've slide the muffler back but then the pipes wouldn't even be far enough in to the muffler to keep an opening at the clamp end split. The splits on the muffler for the clamps to tighten the muffler around the pipes.!?!? After I was finished I stood back and looked. I thought the system looked real nice. I cranked it up and was a bit disappointed with how loud it was. I know most people buy exhaust systems for Harleys to hear them. But this is a touring Harley and I like quiet. This is just a bit loud for me. I think most Harley riders would probably like the sound. It does sound good in a hi-performance sort of way. But to me Harleys aren't hi-performance motorcycles especially my Tour Glide. On the good side I did see a gain in performance. It pulls a lot stronger and with less pops and backfires. It seems to start easier too. Rolling the throttle on in 5th I was able to hit 100 mph much quicker. With the stock pipes it seemed to take forever if it ever got there. Ther may be a quieter baffle I could use. Oh, where the baffle bolts to the muffler. I was where the chrome plating was coming off. This will probably be a place where rust ill start. Good thing Cobra warrants the muffler against rust.

Very nice!!
Installation was fairly easy and the system has a very clean look to it.
The Dennis Kirk return policy was excellent after I had an issue with another name brand system I ordered first.
I've known of Cobra and the excellent product they make so I also went with the Hi-Pro Air cleaner they make, all quality products. I believe these pipes are loud enough without removing the baffles and really did improve the HP.

Should've done it years ago
These were the easiest pipes I have ever put on my 97 Ultraclassic and they sound awesome and create great back pressure. It has made my after market cam come alive and it's like riding a new bike.

Awesome 2 into 1
Order this for my 2001 Road King. Looks and sounds awesome. I will say when installing keep everything loose until you get all pieces attached and straight. Then go back over the entire exhaust and tighten everything and touque heads to spec! Very pleased with look and sound
