Installation of a new exhaust system may change your motorcycle's fuel-air mixture requirements. Please consult the exhaust manufacturer directly with questions regarding any modifications that may need to be made during, or after, installation of their product. If a jet kit or EFI controller is recommended, see the Intake &Fuel section

Exhaust discoloration (bluing) is caused by engine conditions such as cam timing, fuel-air mixture, operating temperature, etc. It is not the result of defective manufacturing; therefore is not covered by any warranty. See Chems &Lubes section for products that will help prevent or remove bluing.

Better than expected
I really bought this pipe so that I could apply hardbags to my bike. I already had Cobra slashcuts on the bike and got plenty of compliments. After putting on the 2 in 1 I noticed a slight low end performance upgrade but it is very slight. the sound is awesome and a deep growl. many have already made compliments on the deeper low end sound. I couldnt have been happier with the purchase. I do a lot of internet purchasing and this was the first time at Dennis Kirk. Great experience and they are now my first stop when looking for any item for my bike!

Absolutely Great Exhaust!
A friend of mine put this exhaust on his 2006 Kawasaki 2000 and it sounded great. So, I put it on my 2006 Kawasaki 900 and the difference is amazing! The stock exhaust was wimpy to say the least, but now, it idles with a nice throaty sound and going down the road it has a nice deep healthy sound to it. But, when you roll the throttle, it growls and sounds just like the big dogs. Overall, it's not too loud but gives it a nice deep throaty sound that really turned heads! Easy to install, no major problems, and only took about 45 minutes. Highly recommend this exhaust for someone that wants to be heard but not so loud that it's obnoxious. LOVE IT!!!!

Sounds Great!
This pipe sounds awesome on my Vulcan 2000. I left the baffle in because its a little too loud for my taste without it. When I get on the throttle you definately know it but at cruising speeds the sound isn't so loud it makes your ears ring when you get off. One thing you will want to get for sure is a fuel processor, I took the bike for a spin around the block before installing a Cobra Fi2000 fuel processor and the backfiring was insane. The processor made all the difference in the world, I get a backfire every so often but nothing horrible. Ordered the pipe on a Monday morning and it delivered at my house on Tuesday. Thanks DK

2 sounds for the price of 1
This is a great product, the best thing about you can get 2 sounds out of it. Keep the baffle in for a nice throaty sound or take it out for a balls to the wall sound, which ever you chose is great, but the baffle in offers more throttle response. As for as performance i still get 43.5 mpg city w/o baffles.
Overall great probuct and simple enough that MOST beginners can install it

Sounded like a jake brake.
Loved the increased preformance, liked the look, not really loud while crusing, at moderate speeds. Plenty loud when you twisted the throttle! Search utube for "Bikinjb" to see video. Sounded like a big jake brake while trying to sneek out of the neighborhood, or at anytime you were going at slow speeds. Didn't like that noise. I didn't want to put on pipes just make noise, wanted to improve the sound of my motorcycle. Installed with a Cobra fi2000 closed loop Modual. Couldn't get the constant backfiring under control no matter what I adjusted. Took them off, sold them, and replaced them with V & H "Big shots". Nomimal very occasional backfiring, Same fantastic improvement in preformance, love the look way better.

Good pipe!
Installed on my 2002 FLHT. Motor has 585 S&S cams, Delcron heads, 95inch bore, Daytona ignition, 45MM Mikuni carb. Tried slipons, 2into2 and now this. Huge difference in torque and throttle response. Pipe pulls clean to 6000 RPM redline. The only complaint is the sound. The pipe is noisy!

Cobra 2 into 1 review
Recently replaced dual slash cut Jardine Rumbler mufflers with this product. So far so good. The install was not difficult. I had some problems with a manifold flange bolt that broke so it took a bit longer. The sound is good, it has a deeper (throaty) sound, and as other reviewers mention it is a quieter while cruising. When throttling it has a high quality pitch. This product is the nicest piece of chrome on the bike. I have never installed a jet-kit but so far performance does not seem to be affected. I'm hoping for no blueing. The muffler sits a bit lower than expected, careful when backing towards curbs. The actual muffler is large and billet end look high quality.

Worth the investment!
I have a 2011 Yamaha Roadstar Silverado S. I had the Cobra Slash Slip on mufflers but felt it was time for a change. To be honest, I really wasn't expecting any change in performance. All I can say is, WOW!!! What a difference, the acceleration was great. After a 30 mile cruise I noticed the fuel gauge hardly moved. I had second thoughts of spending the money on this exhaust system but now I'm happy I got them. Well worth the upgrade. No regrets at all. Oh, and they look good!
