Cobra Freeway Bars - 01-1115

This makes your cruiser look so cool with all that chrome.
Maybe it took 10 minutes to install. The safety factor is impeckable. I was hit by a truck while he was reversing. I tell you that these bars saved my legs from being crushed. I recomend this product as the first thing you should add to any bike.

Made my bike look like an 1800 vtx. Was so easy to install took me longer to find the tools than to install. Recieved great reviews from family and friends. Dressed the bike up , a great safety item.

The Cobra Freeway Bars I recently purchased add a nice touch to my bike not to mention a little added protection for me and the bike. The installation took less that 20 minutes to complete and required only a couple of wrenches. The service was great, as usual and I would recommend both the Cobra Freeway Bars and Dennis Kirk.

The fit & finish was great, i will probably put some hyway pegs on it for more comfort.

Good looking Bars-Price wise, the were $20 cheaper here than any other place I could find. I installed the bars on my Honda vt1100 spirit. I had to redrill the holes on the frame not a problem, the problem came when I tried to place the bolts on the nuts and lockwashers behind the frame, not enough room to manuever. Went down to the local hardware store and bought some nuts that the star washers were connected, that solved the problem. It took more than 15 minutes on this bike though. I would still recommend the bars, one tip over and they could pay for themselves plus they look great.

I've had a few bikes with bars, some factory and some aftermarket. This Cobra bar fits very well with no pushing or pulling to install. Nice solid feel to the bar with its 4 attachment points. Other bars with 3 attachment points just don't feel as sturdy when you kick your boot out on the highway peg at speed.

These bars look good , easy install ,and make a bike look great.Did slip in the gravel once and laid the bike down ,but seeing as I wasn't rolling , the bike only went down on the bar , and because of the width the bar sticks out it held the bike up so it didn't lay right down and I was able to recover with no damage, not even to the bar ! Much better than those narrow bars.

i purchased the cobra freeway bars for my 00 honda 1100 aero. with them mounted and foot pegs installed on them my bike is even more comfortable on long rides. now i couldn't imagine riding without them.

Fast delivery. Easy installation - installed in 15 minutes. Looks great on my Boulevard C50. There was a little welding "splatter " around the lower brackets but it's not noticable after installation.

I just recieved this after 4 days of ordering it. Took out of the box, read the instructions and fifteen minutes later I had it installed. It looks great and fit perfectly. I feel a little more comfortable having that extra protection. Thanks denniskirk for the freeway bars. I will be doing business again with you in the future.

I got these highway bars for my sisters 95 honda shadow and they look great on her bike. The instructions were easy and it only took minutes to install. I'm happy and my sister is happy.

Installation was easy on 07 Aero. These make the bike look nice an big and will save it if dropped. Nice style and
great chrome. I am 6'1 and now with highway pegs installed I can stretch out and enjoy the ride.

I recently purchased these Cobra Freeway Bars for my 2003 Honda Shadow ACE.. They gave my bike an awesome look.. I've had people commenting on them since I bought them.. The bars will also save your chrome and your engine if you lay it down. They are firm and only took me 30 mins to put them on. I hate waiting. I love DK's factory pick up option in Rush City, MN. Worth the 90 mile trip for the instant gratification. These bars are clearly a high quality Cobra product. After reading several previous reviews that were helpful, I'll add one more. Tighten then loosen the top mount bolts on a dry run before final attachment. This helped the bolt go on easier (the yellow stuff they put on the bolt). I primarily wanted these for pegs but who knows, I may end up loving them for the safety and protection.

I purchased these Freeway bars for my '98 Honda Shadow 1100 ACE and it was the best money I could have invensted in the bike! The finish wasa excellent and all the welds were neat and clean on mine. In general, an easy installation. I did have to spring the bar a little to get the 4th bolt to line upwith the factory holes. The most difficult part was keeping the nut from turning on the inside of the frame as there is no room for wrenches or sockets in there! Hint: Get all (4) attached loosely, then snug them up. Might have helped if upper bolts were 1/16" - 1/8" longer. Upper holes will need to be drilled larger for provided bolts (per instructions).

The bars added visual depth that the bike was missing before. They look great with the Cobra Classic Floorboards I added last fall (which are super comfortable). It definitely defines the bike as a "Cruiser". What other accessory can you say you spent <$175, it looks GREAT, can be installed in about 20-30 minutes by yourself, AND will functionally protect your investment if you have the misfortune of introducing your bike to the "horizontal position"? A must have accessory!

I got this for my girlfriends bike. The order came promptly. We followed instructions and the fit was a little off. We added washers to get the fit on the lower frame. Because of the washers I had to bend the lower bar bracket on one side a little for a proper fit. No problem. It took about 45 minutes to complete. They look really good and more importantly, they add a higher degree of safety than similar bars I had checked out for her bike. Big, sturdy, great welds and great chrome plating. Highly recommend this brand.

It has added a look of a more custom bike and has been very helpful for long trips.

I installed these on my 2009 Yamaha V-Star Tourer 1300. Installation was simple. I really like them and they look wonderful on my bike. Now, you need to know that I am a female and when I say installation was simple, it really was.

i had purchased a set a little while back.perfect fit and idiot proof installation.if you drop your bike one time they have pretty much payed for their self.dollar for dollar i would highly recomend them to any one with two wheels

As we all know laying a bike down sucks. I was in a low speed with a van in a parking lot that cut me off. These bars kept my foot and leg off the pavement and saved the exhaust and paint job. They bent and ground down but held. I credit these with making my incident far less painful than if they had not been there. I'm back to Dennis Kirk to buy another one. Besides my real world test I like the look and and at six foot seven inches I can get highway pegs out enough even for my size. Just do it you won't regret it.

I installed these on my 94 honda vt100. the fit good and looked good on the bike. My only complaint was on that narrow bike, they were really wide, and my kick out pegs were to far out. They fit nice and are really sturdy.

I received the Freeway bars for my 1100 Shadow. It was packaged extremely well and delivered very fast. purchased crashbars for wife's honda 750 Aero and it only took about 20 minutes to install. Fit and finish were almost perfect except the welds could have been cleaned up a little bit better

Like all Cobra products I have ever bought, the Freeway Bar is an easy install, not too big on my VTX1300s.Its well finished, with deep chrome. Just a great product.

After reading other reviews and getting some information on the internet the bars were very easy to install. It took about 10 minutes and they were perfect. They came just as they said they would and I received them in a quick period of time. If you are looking for quality parts and quick shipping Dennis Kirk is the way to go.

These freeway bars are a great addition to my 2012 C50. Even though the website warns that these bars will not fit the 2012 model, I assure you they fit perfectly. Installation was quick and easy and these bars look great.
