does exactly what it was made to do

this might not be the best looking little programmer you'll ever find, but its engineered well, fits well and does exactly what its supposed to do. its not often that you find a product that fulfills its purpose without some other strings attatched, but this one does. simple as that. simple install, simply adjustments... reasonable price. i'm sold.

I checked out several other brands of fuel processors and went with the Cobra and could not be happier. Easy to install and I am in NO WAY a mechanic. It took me less that an hour. The processer stopped all back firing when I decelerated. Dennis Kirk is a must for all metric bike pruchases.

I had put a Cobra slip on muffler on my 2010 VStar 950T and was experiencing popping and backfiring on deceleration. Did some research online and heard great things about this product. All of the rave reviews were right! Instantly corrected the popping, and acceleration and performance were also greatly improved. The bike seems to run much smoother and I couldn't be happier. The only reason I gave 4 stars overall is because it is a pain to install. Getting to the fuel injectors with enough clearance to plug everything in is a nightmare!

Fi2000 Installation is not easy!

The people who said installing the Fi2000 was a snap apparently half a** did it. It took me a total of 4 hours to install. The biggest problem was access to the original fuel injector plugs. There was so much in the way making it impossible to work. This is not the fault of the Fi2000, but the tight design of the VStar 950. I did not have a chance to run the bike, but feel confident in the Fi2000’s performance. I wanted to set the record straight about ease of installation. It’s not!

A must purchase

If you are putting on an aftermarket exhaust then this should be your next purchase. Very easy to install and it makes your bike run like it should have when it was purchased new. This was by far the best purchase I have made for my 07 Yamaha V-Star 1300. Along with the cobra pipes and this FI2000R, my bike now runs like a big dog.
