The quality and comfort for the price point of this modular helmet is as good as any helmet I have tried on, and better than a lot of it's higher priced competitors. I loved the quick disconnect for the chin strap too. Many of the other so-called Snowmobile outwear experts who make helmets skip the importance of the easy chin strap. Try using the double D-rings at -15 below and wind, not fun on bare fingers. Kudos to CKX for designing in the quick disconnect on the chin strap, all snowmobile helmets should do so. Not that expensive either for them at the factory, less than $5. That said, CKX engineers missed a really important function, they put the slider for the drop-down inner sun visor right where a helmet communicator goes. I always ride with one. I could not put it behind, as the microphone boom didn't reach, and in front of it, put it in view of my eyesight. They need to move the drop down slider to either the other side of the helmet or above like many other manufacturers do. I was not able to test ride it, as I always use a communicator on my snowmobile riding for safety. I had to return this helmet and start my search over again.
