I purchased this drive belt after the failure of my stock drive belt with 2,100+ miles. This belt disintegrated after only 700 miles! Carlisle replaced it under warranty and I have yet to exceed the same mileage. Unsure if the failure was simply a manufacturing defect in that single drive belt but I expected to at least match the miles from the stock drive belt. Depending on life of replacement belt, I'm considering going back to stock drive belts.
Just bought two of these for my D&D 900 Firecat. Awesome belt! The stock 031 belts are strong, but too hard. The stock 020 belts are sticky, but not very strong. The Ultimax belt is much stickier than the stock 031 AC belts, but also way stronger than the 020 AC belts; Ultimax XS is perfection. My 900 is pretty hard on belts and the Ultimax XS has proven to be the toughest on the market. Thanks Carlisle!
Ultimax out performs oem in my eyes. We ride ditches hard. More times than not, we are wide open throttle. They are the only ones I’ve trusted in my sleds. I even ran these in my infamous 900 Polaris Fusion with no problems.
this belt is awesome the company had this belt to me on ny within 3 days after ordering I'd recommend this belt to anyone and I would def tell ppl to order from Dennis kirk
I have gone through two factory belts and was not happy with either. The new Carlisle belt from Dennis Kirk is working great and am very satisfied with it in my 900 Fusion.
Catastrophic belt failure at 506 miles. Belt was properly broke-in actually few more miles than usual. I gave it a chance because of price and needless to say I won't buy one again. I will say I ride hard and usually replace belts around 800 miles to AVOID failure. I can usually tell when belt needs to be changed but not the case with this Carlisle belt. Catastrophic belt failure is hard on everything!
This belt stunk. Lasted less than 1000 miles. I should have stuck with an OEM Yamaha belt, as my first OEM belt lasted over 2500 miles, and I ride my Nytro HARD. Stick with OEM. It's cheaper and MUCH better than this thing.
