These really work good to load your sled, if the holes were predrilled I would have gave a "5". Just marked them out and set up my drill press and it took a few minutes to install. These are a must to load your sled!
got my grips for the 2 doors of my v nosed enclosed snowmobile trailer. were in great condition, a snap to install and really helps give traction to the track of my snowmobile while loading. all good. lets bring on the snow!
I bought a new 4 place this year and it sits high. Put these on my loading ramp and they work great. I don't think I'd get my sleds up the ramp without them. I like that they came with stainless steel hardware.
I put a set of these on my two place open trailer. They work great with both studded and unstudded tracks and unlike a rubber mat they don't hold a bunch of moisture under them which rots the deck out.
In my Triton TC-16 snowmobile trailer there is no front ramp so the sleds have to be backed out of the trailer. Without some kind of traction aid, this would be nearly impossible once you get a little ice and snow in the trailer. The caliber grips fixed that. They are actually too long for my purpose but they are easily cut in half.
Another quality product from caliber. They recently redesigned the grips and the new model is not depicted on website or actual packaging. I needed the older style to match existing grips already on trailer. Dennis Kirk was more than willing to exchange for the previous model. They were unaware of the manufacture change. Top notch customer service at Dennis Kirk.
The grips are very useful in our snowmobile trailer for ramp grip. We load and unload from the front and back. The grips came in the estimated amount of time. When we opened the package, there were black slivers all over in the box which made a mess on our floor. The packaging could be a bit cleaned up.
