Love these tires
I have an '80 Honda CB650 with the wire rims, and if any of you out there have tried to find tires you know if can be quite a chore for some of the older Japanese bikes with tubed rims. I checked on Denniskirk.com obviously and found these a direct OEM replacement. The price was right so I ordered them. I have been through many brands in my time Metzler, Avon, Dunlop, Cheng Shin, etc... But my favorite for the money and my climate (northern Utah) I cannot beat these Spitfires, excellent dry pavement characteristics, excellent wet performance, and I have even had em on ice in the winter. I even took the bike out to Miller Motor Sports park and ran the short road track they performed great. So if your looking for a great performance street tire for that old Jap rice burner pick a set up you will not be disappointed.

Great tire for 1978 GS750
Great tire for the price. Well made. Although it is described as tubeless, I run a tube with it. Cheap insurance ...Bridgestone delivers exceptional performance and value at a price all of us can afford.

I have only put about 100 miles on the tire so far but compared to what my 1981 Honda CM400C had on it when I bought it used, this tire it great!!! I hit the gas and the tire grips not spins, even on wet pavement. I don't feel like the bike is coming out from under me in turns. I mounted it myself with ease and there is no sense of the tire needing balanced, just a nice smooth ride.
I am very satisfied with my purchase.

An overlooked winner!
These tires have a dual tread compound for center section wear and edge grip. The tread pattern runs quiet and pumps away rainwater. The R&D and molds have long ago been paid for and the reasonable price reflects this. I have run this tire for 20+ years and tried another brand only once. It was a popular name brand and wore out like a gum eraser with no traction or ride advantage! I personally love the classic white letter look but they are available in all black. A great cruiser or sport touring tire for those who cannot get a radial in their size.

Good tire for the price
I purchased these tires for my vtx 1300 when I installed them its was a night and day differance in cornering and handleing. So when the new bike I bought needed a front tire I went and got the same tire. The only thing is I havent put alot of miles on them so we will see how they wear so far so good.
