These act to reroute air, which adds downforce to the front of the bike.  This downforce greatly improves stability compared to the stock windshield.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The flip at the top of the shield kicks air up and back.  This creates a clean, less turbulent pocket for both the rider and passenger to sit in.
