O2 Pursuit: Prototype of the Australian Compressed Air Motorcycle Revealed

Posted on 07 Feb 2012 in Powersports, Sport Bikes | 0 comments

It sounds like a brilliant idea, but energy is still needed to compress the air and the losses that go with converting energy still have to be taken into account, just as in fossil fuel-based propulsion systems. Industrial Design student Dean Benstead, the designer of the system, thinks that compressed air does have a role to play in the future transport mix, and he’s designed a working air-powered motorcycle prototype with a view to exploring the viability of the application. The entire crew of SAMCRO will stick around for another year as FX announces it has renewed the top-rated cable drama ‘Sons of Anarchy’ for season 5. Aside from extreme tension in the SAMCRO, what can viewers expect from the award-winning series for season five?  Series creator, Kurt Sutter offered these teasing tid-bits to Will Opie return? “I think it’s all just sort of catching up with Opie and he’s not a guy who processes things quickly. It will take a minute for him to get back to that table, if he does get back and that’s something we get to play off next season.” What about Wendy? “I like the character very much… I just think she will be, in a very general way, very interesting to throw […]
