Is it a Motorcycle? Is it a Car? No, it’s a “Stallion”!

On a recent trip to Gooseberry Falls, Minnesota I came across an unusual looking bike. In fact, I wasn’t sure it was classed as a motorcycle or a car. The rear looked like that of a car, featuring two wheels, a trunk and a car lighting configuration. As I looked at the interior, while it was open like a trike, it featured a car steering wheel. The front was neither a car or a motorcycle style, it looked more like a futurist kind of spacecraft. Meet “Fritter the Clown” and Her Custom Johnny Pag Motorcycle

We had the pleasure of meeting Debbie Held-Lanning (AKA “Fritter the Clown”) of Dunn County, WI recently, at the Donnie Smith Show in St. Paul, Minnesota. Debbie was there to show her breast cancer awareness custom Johnny Pag bike that has been built via a whole host of donors. Everything from the seat to rear bags and custom paint has been donated in the name of breast cancer research. Debbie shared that the whole experience has been quite emotional journey as onlookers all over the country have shared stories of both ill and lost loved ones to breast cancer. 25th Annual Donnie Smith Custom Bike Show Wrap Up

As always, the Donnie Smith Show at St. Paul River Center, Minnesota was a blast! For those who have never been, The Donnie Smith Show is a real grass roots custom motorcycle show, with awesome builds showing up from all over the country. In addition to the show, the event boasts a huge swap meet area, that is almost as big as the main show arena. This year happened to be extra special for a few reasons. Daytona Bike Week 2012

Daytona Bike Week 2012 took place a week later than years gone by. Not sure if that contributed to the great weather the rally enjoyed this year or not but it sure was nice. Pretty much 80 and sunny every day. That encouraged rally participants to get out and make the most of the Rally. Whether you were into Harleys, Cruisers, Sport Bikes or Dirt Bikes there was something there for everyone. From Supercross to Flat track and Road Racing you could get your adrenaline fix. If you were into custom bikes they were everywhere. The varieties ranged from classic Harley customs to tricked out Hayabusa’s. Antique bikes were on display and on the road as well.
