Light Up the Track with New Glow Fox Gear

Light Up the Track with New Glow Fox Gear

Just because the light is diminishing, doesn’t mean your mad riding skills are too.  So what do you do when you’re ripping after dark and still want your onlookers to be able to see you?  You glow in the dark like the badass that you are.

No, don’t cover yourself in those glow sticks that you find at raves.  Throw on the new Limited Edition Foxborough Libra kit from Fox.  This new kit features navy/yellow colorway on the V3 helmet, Flexair jersey and pant and Instinct boots.  The V3 helmet and Instinct boots begin to glow when the light gets low, lighting you up for all to see.

Fox Glow MX Gear

The glow of this Fox riding kit may be what catches your eye, but it’s the way that it performs that will allow you to ride all day and all night in it.  Check out each piece individually to see why you should be wearing the Foxborough Libra kit this summer.

Fox Libra KitV3 Helmet

The Fox V3 helmet has become one of the most relied upon lids for hardcore riders who seek a precise fit, comfort and excellent protection.  The V3 is equipped with MIPS (multi-directional impact protection system), which drastically reduces the risk for head trauma in a crash.  MIPS works to reduce rotational forces from the impacts that can be most hazardous.  To keep the size of the shell down and provide a more precise fit, Fox uses 3 different shell sizes and 4 EPS liners sizes.  Staying cool and dry is a breeze with the 14 intake vents and 4 exhaust vents.  The Dri Lex comfort liner is breathable and moisture wicking to aid in cooling as well.  The V3 exceeds ECE22.03 and DOT certifications for dependable protection.

Instinct Boots

The Fox Instinct boots have been a serious contender in the completive MX boot category since they were first introduced.  They are now even better after the Fox team made some crucial updates.  The Instincts now have a slightly roomier sizing, new lower straps with replaceable strap passes, and they are built with materials that improve durability.  Of course, the details that made them so great in the first place still exist.  They require zero break in, allowing you to ride all out the first time you throw them on.  The buckles are as easy as it gets and they move fluidly as the boot flexes.  The Hinge Lockout prevents hyper extension.  The Low Ride Chassis and the slim interface of the Duratac burn guard get you closer to the bike for ultimate grip and control.

Flexair Jersey

This jersey may not glow like the boots and helmet, but you will give it glowing reviews after riding all day in it.  The Flexair jersey is insanely light and comfortable to wear, with a size large weighing only 8 oz.  The main body is built with Fox’s proprietary TruMotion fabric that wicks moisture and stretches to move with for greater mobility.  It is also incredibly soft and will not irritate you as you ride.  The back features a stretch mesh fabric to keep you as cool as possible.  The inside layer of the Flexair is made with their TruDri fabric, which rapidly wicks moisture away from your skin to keep you dry and cool.

Flexair Pant

Where many MX pants can be stiff and stuffy, the Fox Flexair pant is the exact opposite.  It is also built with the 4-way stretch TruMotion fabric to provide maximum mobility.  And because of the stretch, the pant is a closer fit for added comfort and less obstruction on the bike.  With the RAP (Rider Attach Position) fit, you’re lower body is comfortably placed in the optimal riding position without bunching.  The Flexair pant is by far the lightest that Fox has created, yet they are still durable enough to handle the demands of motocross.

Ride all day.  Ride all night.  The new Foxborough Libra Glow in the dark kit has you covered.

I am surprised to hear that there is gear out there that lets you glow in the dark! It’s good to know that the fox gear quality is more than just aesthetically well designed, but that it does a good job of protecting the wearer. It’s important to be safe in such a risky sport as racing.
