Every year we get the opportunity to sponsor one of the greatest motorcycle events around.  No it’s not Sturgis or Bike Week.  It’s the Dennis Kirk Patriot Ride.  This Saturday, June 14th, hundreds of riders will be gathering at the Lion’s Park in Ham Lake, MN for the Patriot Ride to support Minnesota’s military, veterans and the families that stand behind them.  This is the 9th annual ride and it has really grown into a spectacular event over the years.  We get to support those who have served our country and their families and show them just how much we appreciate their service. All of the proceeds that are raised during the Patriot Ride are donated to three very deserving charities.  They are the Minnesota Patriot Guard, […]

While having a motorcycle trailer can solve your packing woes, it’s not as simple as throwing a hitch on your bike and hooking […]

Roger Hendricks from Scorpion recently came by Dennis Kirk to show our staff all of the finer points of their new gear.  A few of the guys from DK got a chance to sit down with Roger to hear more about the new Scorpion helmets, including the EXO-R2000, which is their premier helmet. If you want to learn more about the Scorpion EXO-R2000 Bautista Signature Series helmet, you can click HERE for a detailed breakdown. Want to win your own Scorpion EXO-1100 Sixty-Six helmet and a pair of Coolhand Gloves?  Head on over the the Dennis Kirk Facebook page to enter the Dirty, Ratted and Tattered Photo contest. As you might have noticed in the video, the EXO-R2000 is a MotoGP race quality helmet, but it retails at […]

It’s easy to forget about.  It’s also easy to just plain ignore it, but you will be reminded by the effects of blown out exhaust packing every time you ride your dirt bike.  Your bike will not only be louder (not in a good way), but you will also lose low end torque and overall horsepower from blown out exhaust packing.  Yes it can be a little inconvenient to take your muffler or silencer can off of your bike, but once you get the whole process down, it can be done in no time.  You’ll notice a quieter ride and more importantly, you’ll notice that the power of your dirt bike is where it should be. One of the biggest questions is how often the exhaust packing […]
