Bars are always a crapshoot
Don't be put off by my title or ratings. I bought this bar to try and get a better riding position on my 2000 Buell Cyclone which came with bars like a Schwinn Stingray.
I've swapped a lot of bars on a lot of bikes and, indeed, they always a crapshoot in terms of "fit". Buying the right diameter bar is easy enough, but it's always hard to know if there won't be problems once one has mounted all of the controls in terms of smacking the tank or inappropriate cable lengths. Buells are weird to begin with, so it wasn't huge surprise that my bars would hit the tank before the stops, which reduced my available steering swing to something unusable.
The bend felt good, the chrome seemed fine, they were indeed comfortable for a 50 mile ride, and price was right. I just haven't used them long, and they don't work well with a 2000 Buell Cyclone.
