Great Pipes
Vance & Hines comes thru again. In about 3 hours I installed a set of V&H Big Shot duals on my 09 Roadking classic. Great pipes, Great sound, Great looks and some of the easiest pipes I've ever installed. It took me longer to remove the 2 into 1 performance header the first owner had installed than to install the V&Hs and the sound is much better, Nice loud deep tone when your pouring the coal to it and you can still talk to your rider when cruising or at a stop. And I did not notice any performance change from the header. Go ahead buy'em you won't be sorry.

Nice pipes, bad fit
I really like the sound and look of these pipes and I am happy with the preformance. However, while installing one of the sides I discovered that the O2 sensor port was not threaded correctly. This was after I already had the other side on and I was not about to take it off. So the port had to be tapped setting me back some time and cash. I would recommend the pipes, but make sure you check them before you start.

Great looking and preforming pipes
Exhaust is exactly what I was looking for in both preformance and looks. Love the two into two, takes the heat from under your right thigh totaly away.

They should come stock on a bagger.
These are the pipes you want for your bagger. They should have just come with them from the factory. They look awesome and they sound great. They make your Harley sound like it should. I put the quiet baffles in mine... it's worth the extra few bucks. You won't be disappointed.

V&H Big Shot Duals
The fit and finish of these pies is very good. With the standard baffles I thought they were a bit too loud but after switching to the quiet baffles the pipes sounded great.

Vance & Hines Big Shot Duals
Product delivery was great, end product is excellent. I put them on my 09 Streetglide, install was a little trickier than other V&H products I've installed. Be sure you ream out the O2 sensor ports before you install the sensors or you will likely strip the threads. V&H seems to have a reputation for not cleaning the threads after chroming, something I found out after I stripped one $50 sensor.

Best purchase yet
I have a 2010 Ultra Classic that runs hot. The pipes helped eliminate the extra heat and gave me an outstanding sound. Fast shipping. Best price I found and I looked hard. Great fit and an awesome look.

Great Buy
Pipes are loud and look great. Very easy to install. The hardest part is removing your old exhaust. I would recommend a PCIII or FuelPak to help minimize the backfiring you will have as the pipes will make your bike run very Lean.

Sweet Vance and Hines pipes
Installed these same day as the fuelpak and big sucker. Overall easy to install, the only difficult part is one of the flange nuts on the rear cylinder is a bit difficult to get at, however the other 3 were no problem. Nice rumble that a Harley should have. Loud but not necessarily too loud even with standard baffles. Much better sound and louder than the Rush slip-ons that were on the bike. Finish is excellent and gets rid of the crossover tube. Bike looks and sounds great. Superb VH product and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting true duals and a better sounding bike.

Great pipes, great price
I had a pair of slip ons on my 09 Road KIng previously. While I was happy with the performance of those, they just didn't have the sound I was looking for. After reading a few reviews I decided to go with the Big Shot Duals. I couldn't be happier. These pipes look great and they sound even better. These pipes give my RK the HD sound I was looking for. They are kinda loud when hitting the throttle, but when cruizing they are not too bad. And the price here at Dennis Kirk cannot be beat. Oh yea, the install wasn't too bad either.

why are the bags on my 2007 ultaclassic electra glide are in the way to install the pipes?
kim m on Aug 13, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The bags themselves are easy to remove from the the Brackets. Removal of the brackets for pipe installation is not necessary. The actual installation of the pipes was straightforward and went on easily. Granted, I have been a mechanic for a lot of years, but this process didn't require any over the top expertise or special tools. I do have a bike lift that I used. I could not be happier with the sound and performance of my bike since the installation. Make sure to do the Fuel Pak and air filter upgrade and get the proper calibration package or you are wasting your time. Safe Riding!!
