This Bell helmet is a great fit, I ordered it one size larger than what I needed from the fit chart and it's perfect. The sizes run small. Changing the face shield is super easy and very quick without any tools. I recommend this helmet.
My head measures at 23 and 1/4 or around 58cm and the large fits me perfectly.
This helmet does not come with the Transitions adaptive shield despite the product description saying so. I notified DK a few days ago about this and as I am writing this, the description is still the same.
The airflow of this helmet is very good but I am still riding in cool weather. I had some fogging but not enough to block my vision. I also wear glasses so some of the fogging could have been my glasses and not the shield.
Despite the listed weight this helmet felt light to me and is comparable to my half helmet. I have not worn a FF helmet in a long time and was worried that this would not be comfortable but I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it felt. I also adjusted to the helmet on one ride and did not really feel any fatigue from wearing this helmet.
To me I have a great field of vision with this helmet. The noise level was less then my half helmet but still had wind noise, especially when turning my head to the right because of the blue tooth communication port is on the left side and noticeably leaked air into the helmet.
This is one of the best helmets I have ever had and I think Bell has done a great job with this helmet. If you want a Qualifier DLX and don't mind not having the Transitions shield then this is the helmet for you. The blackout appealed to me as well because it has a less noticeable sticker then the normal Bell helmets.
