Did not work
Never worked...I'm a aircraft electritian. I double checked wiring. Will not buy another on. I'm making my own adapter.
Guess I was a little lazy and bought an adapter. I got angry and threw it away. Next time I'll do my homework.

Hooked it up per the instructions. DOES NOT send a signal to the Drag Specialties mini tach. Only to find this out from the Drag Specialties catalog. Pretty much a waste of money.

Tach adapter
I recently changed my 98 fxdl from duel fire to single fire coil.
I could have made something to make my tach work properly, but this was already made, came in a clean looking package and worked on my bike. I would not splice harness wires, run new to tach

Confusing installation, etc.
This product is overall good. However, the installation was confusing and not written well and thorough. The directions didn't cover the use of a "resistor" that needs to be installed as well. I found the resistor on the net and am still confused about the installation. My Dad is an electronics technician for 50 years and he doesn't get why the resistor is needed. So, the tach is installed but not hooked up yet, until I can figure it out. It's not like the old days. These days you hook up the wrong wires and something blows and doesn't work anymore. So, you have to be careful.
