I'm looking for better performance, and would like a better sound, but I don't want a loud bike, are these loud ?
XR Rick on May 23, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I took out the baffles because I want a load aggressive sound which it definitely affords. I also purchased these over Cobra and Vance & Hines pipes because I already like the look of the larger diameter pipes and heat shield on my 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic. If you don't like load then these pipes are not for you but I love them.
Want to put Baron custom slip-ons on my 2006 Kawasaki Vulcan 900. Will it interfere with the O2 sensor.?
Rick L on Jan 27, 2019
BEST ANSWER: There is no O2 sensor on the Kawasaki Vulcan 900. the hack and slash pipes are everything I hoped for maybe a little louder than I hoped but okay.I did have a little backfire off hard acceleration but haven't needed to change anything else
Did any one have to change or tune their Fuel system like mapping or something , or did the bike run well with out changes?
Coleman D on Jul 31, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I did not change my fuel system. My exhaust does smell rich but my bike still runs fine. For the price you can't beat these. They sound great and are easy to install.
In stock? Is this item discounted or just out of stock?
Cjedwards26 on Mar 24, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Out of stock
We usually get new stock within 30 days unless you put it on back order which will expedite the process (usually 7-10 days).
o2 sensor plasment after installing the slip on what do you recomend .?
Ahmed A on Jun 5, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I have a 2008 Vulcan 900. Did not have an 02 sensor on my bike??? Sorry. But I don't think you have to cut that far in the head pipe. The 02 sensor should be fine where it is.
Do they interfere with the back pressure or is it the same?
A shopper on Oct 8, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I don't know if it changes at all. I did not have to use a programmer. I would definately reccomend them. They sounded great until September 19th when a guy decided to hit me.

I bought these and put them on my 07 Vulcan 900 two weeks ago. I absolutely love them. Seems like it gave the bike a little more get up and go, and they sound great. My buddy has a 1700 Vulcan with Vance and Hines pipes on it and mine is just as loud as his for a fraction of the cost. Very impressed with these slip ons

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!
this slip on exhaust is amazing, i bought this over a full exhaust because i just wanted something a little louder without breaking the bank and for what i paid i got a lot more sound, this exhaust screams! it is day and night, the vn900 stock exhaust is very quiet which worried me when in traffic, but i dont think i have to worry about that anymore, i am very satisfied with this product and recommend this to anyone with a vulcan that doesnt wanna pay a tremendous amount, the install took about 20 min altogether, if youre careful you can cut the existing exhaust without having to remove whole exhaust beforehand, making it that much easier!

Unleashed the beast
I opted to buy these over Cobra and Vance & Hine options because I real like the look of the larger diameter pipes and heat shield on the 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic. I decided to go hardcore and took the baffles out which was a snap. They are very load but then again LOAD IS SAFE! Doesn't matter who pulls up to me at an intersection I definitely won't be embarrassed by the sound of my bike.

If you like Loud, Buy these Pipes!!
I bought these for a 2017 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 LT. Taking off factory heat shields- not a problem. Cut exhaust with my SawsAll per directions- No problem. The mount for the rear cylinder is a little goofy, and Barons needs to put a mount that better replicates the factory mount, but just on the rear cylinder: front cylinder was fine. These things are Freakin’ LOUD!! The videos on the internet are muffled or something. In person, I now have the Loudest bike, and I ride with 10 to 12 other people; most of whom have Piped Harleys. I wrapped the baffles, but only lost about 1 decibel. I bought Decibullz molded ear plugs, then I put on slim ear muffs, then my full face helmet: this combination gets you close to what you hear on the internet. Before ear plugs, 55 mph made my head hurt and my ears ring after a 15 minute ride. Please note- I like loud bikes, and this is my 2nd Vulcan, but I’ve never had Barons before, and these pipes, at least on a 900, are no Joke. Popping and backfiring seems to be minimal as I have not installed FI computer or aftermarket air box. I like them, but they are Loud!! And wrapping the baffles does not help. Buy these pipes, buy ear plugs: just my two cents.

Very Loud!! Bike has a nice Growl, but instead of One Lion we got 10,000 Lions!! We like the sound but we did buy earplugs from Decibullz.
