CB700SC Nighthawk-S SPORT tires.
DennisKirk is by far the most pleasant retailer out there and beat the lowest web prices i have found!.....AVON AM26 is VERY sticky,(which i wanted). The tread is deep and added stability. This is a dificult size to find (sport) like tires, they are not,but closer than anything out there today. If it were not for the lack of FULL crown for heavy lean angles(MT90-16),i'd give them 5 stars. (110/90-16) HAS a full crown. The ride is matched-reguardless and i WILL deffinately buy them again, from DennisKirk.

Good solid tire
The Avon roadride tires are good solid tires. I have used a few of them. I am sold on them. They are a very good middle of the road tire. Good for your average day to day riding

Great tires!
I put these on a CB550. Now the bike just loves flicking through the twisties. Very good in rain too! (Of course always beware wet leaves!) I think they wear a bit longer than others I've tried, and there is low road noise. I will buy these again. (I also love them on the Bonneville in those sizes.)

Great handling
This is my third Roadrider. Never let me down. Was running a 150 radial, model (97 Nighthawk) calls for a 140 bias, which this tire is. Turn in was so much lighter, and absolutely nutral handling. Have no intention of using something else as long as I can get this tire.

PERFECT! Avon AM26 110/90V-18
Slapped this on the rear of my modified '74 RD350 back in '10. I've got 2,300 miles on it now - just slightly starting to wear in the center of the tread. These stick like glue to a dry road, even cornering aggressively & heavy on the throttle. I never ride in rain, so no info on that. Has a nice tread pattern that looks like it will shed water without an issue. These balanced up nice - seem like a real good quality tire. So far so good - best tire I could find for my vintage ride! Excellent value! VERY happy!

Amazing affordable tire
I bought this tire for my 1985 Honda VF700F Interceptor. This tire says REAR but it is for front OR rear (I used this tire on the front.)
Manufacturers don't make a whole lot of tires in the size I need but Avon definitely made me happy. These tires were great considering they're Bias ply (I wanted Radial but couldn't resist these tires so cheap). These tires aren't racing tires but they'll work perfect for anyone who just wants to ride on the street. Great quality affordable tires from Avon.

awesome for Vmax
I have been using the Avon Roadrider on the front of my Vmax for many years. (I have used the Venom on the rear.) It is an awesome tire. V rated which is good since I push the 130 mph boundary and don't like living on the edge, which is what an H rated tire would be. Despite rumors to the contrary, the Vmax CAN corner tightly but needs a lot of encouragement. I do use all the tread and scrape the foot pegs..... Dennis Kirk has always delivered promptly, and the date codes on the tires they send me are always very new - usually two years old or less. So that's awesome too.
The rear Venom is a wonderful tire on dry roads, but on the wet it absolutely sucks.

Check the side walls each spring
I ride year round every day possible for work, I'll put 8,000 to 10,000 on per year. I love the way the bike handles on these tires I can't speak about the mileage as I haven't been able to use them to the end. The reason why I had to replace them twice is because the sidewalls would start to crack in under a year. The past two springs I found the side walls cracking all the way around the tire on both the front and rear. The people at Dennis Kirk have been nothing but great and helpful last year and are working with me again this year.

Will this size work for front n back tires?
A shopper on Aug 21, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It can be mounted on the rear rim but I wouldn't. Motorcycle tires are matched between front and rear. If you look at them, they will have different tread patterns. It is designed this way by design. The front to provide steerage and the rear to provide traction.

Personally, I wouldn't use Avons. The last several years they have been having manufacturing issues where the tire splits. This renders the tire unsafe and on a motorcycle, tires that fail can be life threatening.
Is this tire good for 2005 Dayna super glide fdx?

BEST ANSWER: I put this tire on my 92' Katana 1100, one of the fastest bikes in the world at the time. No issues and surprisingly good traction wet or dry
