A Strong Pump but...
Quality and Value are superb compared to other online retailers. I only dinged FIT for reasons below.

Purchased for my 2005 Yamaha V-Star Classic (XVS1100AW). After arrival and looking at the packaging, my motorcycle wasn't listed on the fitment listing. I called DK to confirm and they said it was an EXACT fit so I proceed to install. The Fuel pipes are not labeled for either IN or OUT so I had to connect it to figure it out. That's when I discovered that the NEW plug was completely different from the Stock Plug. I know the actions I took below eliminate any warranty claims I might have later on if the pump fails but, If I wasn't in such a tight spot for my Motorcycle, I would have returned it.

The Stock plug has a "T" shaped interface while the NEW plug has a "C" shaped interface. Also, the terminal ends of the NEW plug are too big for the tabs on the Stock plug. I had to trim off the wires of the STOCK pump, trim off the wires of the NEW pump, and Solder/Splice the Stock wires onto the NEW pump. I'm just glad I had formal "High reliability Soldering and Braising" training from my time in the Air Force.

After the splice job, the pump works STRONG! I no longer have any fuel starvation issues at freeway speeds.

Another Positive is the NEW inlet and Outlet pipes are about a 1/16" larger than the Stock pipes so the fuel hose fitment is tight and leak-proof. An unexpected bonus!

Overall, if I wasn't pressed for my need of my Motorcycle, I would have returned it in case there was a mix-up with labeling. I know mistakes happen. Still a good value.
