This seat pad is a must have for anyone who needs a bit more comfort, especially for long days in the saddle. You can adjust the firmness, which helps relieve pressure points. The mesh cover keeps sweat at bay. Definitely worth the money. I highly recommend this seat pad!
A previous reviewer noted that you don't need much air. So true. Currently on a run from Astoria, OR to San Diego on the PCH, and have this cushion dialed in. Your butt needs to feel your bike's seat slightly, or else this cushion will make you feel sloppy in the corners. Anyway, 4 days into the ride and no back pain or hurting tail bone. I'm 54 yo, 170 lbs & ride a 2016 CVO Street Glide with a HD Brawler solo seat, if that helps you fellers any. Keep the shiny side up, brothers.
after more than 700 miles worth of adjusting I can finally say this cushion has helped my ride tremendously. Here's some advice, keep messing with the air pressure. I did a lot of on line research before I bought this pad. All of them recommended very low psi that didn't work for us (rider/passenger) we found a little more air made the difference! Don't give up, keep experimenting and you will find the right amount for you!
I ordered this Air Hawk seat Cushion because I was having problems with low back pain and pain in rear end because my seat on bike was harder than it looked after about 1/2hr 45mins it was very uncomfortable riding a friend told me he had purchased an Air Hawk seat cushion and it really made a difference so I ordered one got it in a couple days from Dennis Kirk and I really like it, it has given me the capability of riding farther before stopping the secret is not to over inflate seat but just enough air that going around turns one side moves air from one chamber to another for support I think I got mine filled about halfway or just a little less for my comfort its just something each individual needs to try themselves.
With a low amount of air, felt hard and useless. With more air, felt squishy and unstable. It needs to be longer, for me anyway, and the red line and labeling look awful in my opinion. After the cushion is installed on the seat, if one wants to adjust their position a bit while riding, this cushion makes it very tricky to do that.
I really like this product! Would like a little more "cush"/comfort for longer rides, and would be great if there was a black cover that could go over it, as the red stripe clashes with my orange bike. Highly recommend! The straps are easy to use, one of them doesn't get quite short enough but it won't move, as I'll be sitting on it!
