This turn signal was exactly like the original but at 1/2 the price. It installed without a glitch and looks and works perfectly. Its the 2cnd one I have purchased from Dennis Kirk whom is excellent to do business with. They ship on the same day like advertised with speedy delivery.
This light was not listed to fit my bike but I wanted something that would stick out past the aftermarket wind shield and be more visable for safety . They fit great and look like they came on the bike .
When I ordered this for my 1980 CB750, I figured on getting a cheap reproduction. I was wrong... same quality as the original, and went on in 5 minutes. My order was here 2 days before the scheduled date, which only made me happier. If I had any complaint, it would be that the inside edge of the lens does not meet the housing the same as the original, it is about 1/8 inch short instead of flush, but you really have to study it to notice that.
I bought these for a 1992 Vulcan 750. You can't beat the price, but they didn't fit exactly perfectly. I had to trim a little of the plastic off the base to make them fit. Also, the wires were different colors than on the originals, but that didn't take long to figure out.
The plastic feels a little more rigid and not as supple and "rubbery" as the OEM signal stems, but they should work.
Also, my last gripe is that there is a part number inked on the plastic chrome housing. It is not visible when the assembly is installed on the left side of the bike, but since the part is the same for both sides, when you install the right-side assembly, the black ink part number is right on top, and easily visible. Not attractive.
Overall, though, I'm satisfied with the purchase, if for price alone.
