Great helmet and features, but if you need customer service, prepare to get the 3rd degree.
I purchased this helmet with the electric shield, and it does work nicely, but after about a month of use, the electric shield started to not function properly. It started to fog, but only half way. I tried it again the very next day, and it fogged again, half way.
Upon calling customer service at 509, i was drilled with more questions than i expected. I tried explaining from the start, that it has worked flawlessly for a months worth or riding, and all of a sudden it quit working, and still, i felt like i was on trial. They would not agree that there was any problem. They wanted me to test the voltage, test the resistance on the shield and the cord. I didn't change anything with my snowmobile, or the cord, the shield just quit working. It still felt warm to the touch, but for some reason wasn't working right. Finally, after about 10 back and forth emails, and me getting really ticked off with them, they said they would send me a new shield, which i haven't seen yet, so will see if this one shows up in decent time.
