H25010 Thunderheader Dual-Style Slip-On Mufflers: Manufacturer part # 1061 - Designed to give maximum horsepower without sacrificing low-end torque. Anti-reversion design works to impede reverse flow through the system -- reverse flow can contaminate the incoming fuel/air mixture, which reduces performance and throttle response. As reverse flow enters the collector, the diffuser deflects it through vents; the pyramidal trap and aperatures impede the reverse flow, allowing time for the exhaust valve to close. Flow director has equal area at each end, allowing exhaust gases to travel at a constant velocity over the entire length to improve exhauaust scavenging. H44009 Thunderheader 2 into 1 Exhaust System: Manufacturer part # 1011 - ThunderHeader head pipes have been tuned to the proper length and diameter to produce maximum horsepower and a excellent torque curve. A patented collector is used. The collector is designed to direct spent gases through four acoustical dampening chambers. The flow director serves a multi-task function: directs outgoing flow through four acoustical dampening chambers creating a spiral motion upon exiting to atmosphere and it also forms a pyramidal shaped anti-revision trap to minimize the amount of air rushing in.
