H14107 JIMS 6-Speed Overdrive Transmission with Clean-Cut Gears: Manufacturer part # 8000C6 - Complete transmissions for Softail, FXR and Dyna Glide models. Come with close-ratio first gear, stock second through fifth gears and .86:1 overdrive sixth gear. Available with choice of Pro-Cut or Clean-Cut gears; both types made of 8620 steel. Clean-Cut gears are CNC-machined; shifter dogs are machined with lead-in ramps for better and quicker shifting. Pro-Cut gears are precision-machined and matched to their mating gears, then heat-treated; engagement dogs are precisely machined (length, width and height) to match the dimensions of the engaging gear; back-cut angles are optimized to lock the shifting dogs securely in gear. For use with 91-99 Evolution motors, but will fit earlier years if used with 91-or-later starter motor, clutch and inner and outer primary drive systems. Require a clutch-release rod and bearing, final drive sprocket and transmission lube (JIMS recommends Bel-Ray 85-140 gear lube); all sold separately.
