Chrome Belt Drives LTD Billet Forward Control Kits: These standard length forward controls are CNC machined from billet aluminum for superior strength and light weight. Contoured pegs have rubber inserts for a no-slip grip. Bronze pivot bushings and thrust washers provide smooth action with years of service. Flush mount control to frame hardware is included (3 for shift side and 2 for brake side). Shift side includes a 4 bolt type threaded mount for the OE style Jiffy stand. For proper brake pedal pressure these controls were designed for disc brakes with a caliper that requires a 5/8 in. bore master cylinder. Due to the side port location a custom brake line will be required designed for a 10mm banjo bolt. 1986 Softail models will require relocation of the oil filter. Late FX 4 speed models may require a brake side mounting tab welded to the frame..
