Corner radius maintained throughout eliminating stress areas found in unequal cooling after casting. Pre heated right and left case inserts with larger radiused ears removes vapor pockets and allows for superior aluminum flow, and iron to aluminum adhesion to eliminate possible insert movement. Extra rib on the left front motor mount prevents motor mount beakage and adds rigidity to the case. Top case bolt relocation upward and away from case center-line to allow larger cylinder bores without boring into the bolt. CNC controlled 4th axis allows perfect positioning for motor mounts, lifter blocks, cylinder spigots, oil pump ect. Solid dowel locating pins insure perfect alignment of case halves when assembled. 5.1 x 5.2 front and 5.0 x 5.5 rear cylinder deck for increased rigidity between upper and lower end. Blind case bolt holes and barrell studs holes eliminates thin areas where holes would normally intersect. Alternator stator plug located .300 in. outward eliminates thin areas at left case race. Nylon set screw holds plug. Rerouted oil passages eliminate weak areas between lifter blocks and cylinders. Standard fasteners throughout for easy replacement.
