Mid USA Chrome Triple Tree Set for Wide Glide Forks: Manufacturer part # 36299 - Clean and solid is the only way to describe these triple trees. No top stem nut to clutter the looks like conventional triple trees. Flush mount stem nut is incorporated under the lower bracket and the bearing pre-load can easily be set from the bottom. A wedge pin and jack screw combination securely locks the fork tubes in place instead of the old style pinch bolt. Brackets are made from billet aluminum, and the steering stem and additional hardware are made from stainless steel. Includes a removable headlight mount and upright-style fork stops. Fits 41mm Wide Glide forks on Big Twin 49-06 with 6 degree of built-in rake, , NOTE: Raked triple trees change the handling characteristics of the motorcycle. Steering geometry must be calculated to determine to which degree of rake is most suited for your application. Trees with more than 3 degrees of rake should not be used in stock frame.. 36299
