The Tomahawk track kit replaces standard 15 in. x 121 in./2.52 in. pitch with a 15 in. x 120 in./3 in. pitch in a 1.25 in. high profile - which makes the snowmobile go faster, have better traction and reduce the weight. 40 Drive lugs. Includes sprockets for 1 in. axles/140 pre-molded stud holes Note: Kit includes two half and two full tooth involute style sprockets. Please check your drive axle size and number of sprocket teeth before ordering. The supplied sprockets require 1/4 in. additional clearance as compared to the original 9-tooth. If the snowmobile has 10-tooth sprockets, then no additional clearance is needed. Also, the lug height of the original track has to be considered for clearance, and if studs are going to be installed, allow a minimum of 1/2 in. clearance to ensure the studs will not damage the tunnel or hear exchangers. Perfect repeating V-pattern takes the guesswork out of studding (four different pairs of locations). Reinforcing around the holes helps prevent studs pulling through under heavy stress. Oversized windows for improved lubrication and longer life of the track slides. Innovative design provides superior lateral stability. Lugs have a .75 in. height with open space for superior traction and braking performance. IMPORTANT NOTES: All track applications have been researched as carefully as possible. If we list one with 1 in. or 1.2 in. tall lug heights for your machine, sufficient clearance exists around the drive axle to the bulkhead as best we could determine. Most models 1993 and newer should have sufficient clearance for all tracks listed. On older models, please check clearance before ordering a 1 in. or 1.2 in. lug track.
