Injection-molded polycarbonate composite shell construction. Wind tunnel-tested aerodynamic shell shape with an extra-large eye port for greater visibility. Channeled, dual-density EPS (expanded polystyrene) liner. Flow-through advanced channeling ventilation system has dual flow-through channels, two high-capacity multi-stage forehead intake vents and Venturi exhaust spoiler. Anti-fog system includes side chin bar-mounted vortex vents that create a low-pressure vacuum effect that draws heat and moisture out of the face shield area. Adjustable chin vent re-directs air upward and across shield interior. Next-generation shield closure system has a two-stage pivot mechanism that compresses the shield into the eye port gasket providing and extremely secure seal. Improved, no-tool shield removal and installation. Scratch-resistant hard-coated shield is rated at 95% UV resistant. Removable/washable bioceramic Nylex interior quickly wicks moisture away from skin and elminates odor causing bacteria. Streamline, wraparound neck roll reduces wind noise.
