Efficient, bathtub combustion chambers. Set to take cams of up to .640" lift. Proprietary valves designed on the flow bench to match Wild Things ports. Hard valve seats for use with lead-free fuel. Intake ports: 3/8" raised high flow and high velocity with 1.980" stainless intake valves. Exhaust ports: constant-radius "D" high flow and high velocity with 1.630" stainless steel exhaust valves. High-performance valve springs and titanium top retainers. Balances awesome horsepower and torque with the qualities of a good street motor. Starts as easy as a stock bike, runs on pump gas without any detonation, runs cooler than stock and is as tractable as a stock bike. Come completely assembled and ready to install; require the purchase of four long OEM headbolts for installation (sold separately)-16478-85A. Utilizes equal-length head bolts to minimize cylinder distortion and promote consistent head gasket squish. Extra cooling fin area. Twin Cam. The special skirt shape and material means less break-in time, quieter running and a stronger resistance to scoring.
