Kuryakyn Bluegrass Breather Kit: Manufacturer part # 9930 - Simple, effective way to keep the oil in the bike. Engines that vent crankcase through the cylinder heads also expel oil through the same passages; venting directly into the air cleaner can result in an oily mess on the side of the bike. The banjo fittings and chrome tubes route the vented gasses upward so gravity can keep any expelled oil droplets in the engine where they belong. Can vent the crankcase to open air by running the vent line up and out of sight beneath the tank, but an optional catch tank p/n 18-2806 is available for those who would rather vent to a closed container. For use with aftermarket air cleaner assembly. Assembled height of breather bolt and fitting is 5/8 in. and hose size is 36 in. x 5/16 in. ID.
