Pinion race-installed and line-lapped to standard size. Timken bearings; cylinder studs installed. Include Torrington bearing and chrome timing plug. Requires custom flywheel assembly, 4 1/4" Big Block cylinders and Big Block heads. Cases set up for any stroke up to 5" and most stock length connecting rods. Cam chest and lifter block pad offset .250". Deck height is .625" taller than stock EVO. All other components are based off a 92-99 Evolution-style engine case. Corner radius maintained throughout eliminating stress areas found in unequal cooling after casting. Pre heated right and left case inserts with larger radiused ears removes vapor pockets and allows for superior aluminum flow, and iron to aluminum adhesion to eliminate possible insert movement. Extra rib on the left front motor mount prevents motor mount beakage and adds rigidity to the case. Top case bolt relocation upward and away from case center-line to allow larger cylinder bores without boring into the bolt. CNC controlled 4th axis allows perfect positioning for motor mounts, lifter blocks, cylinder spigots, oil pump ect.
