Belt Drive W/ Outside Bearing Support 02649: Manufacturer part # 38590 - CNC-machined from 6061 T-6 billet aluminum with a polished finish, designed for appearance and function. 3 in. belt drives feature Barnetts Scorpion lock-up clutch assembly that provides a 100 percent increase in clutch capacity for the ultimate street or strip performance. Design provides a lighter clutch lever pull -- lighter coil springs are allowed by using adjustable pressure arms that progressively increase clutch spring pressure as rpms increase. Belt Drives LTD Outboard Bearing Retrofit Kit 02810: Kit has been updated for 2008 to eliminate the front pulley and engine shaft supports. Many aftermarket components used on special-construction motorcycles do not allow proper alignment of the front engine and rear transmission shaft; the change to the kit eliminates that problem. Kit now supports only the rear shaft (which is all that is really required) to eliminate any mis-alignment problems of the front and rear transmission shafts. Works with existing BDL 3" open belt drive kits for Softails and Dyna Glide models not incorporating an outboard bearing support (kits not enclosed within the OEM inner/outer primary covers).
