These Riser Pullbacks bring the Ventures handlebars back to a comfortable position. This position relieves neck, shoulder and back pain, while the improved grip point provides the rider with additional leverage, making the bike feel like it's lost several hundred pounds. These simple extensions slip into your stock risers, and your stock handlebars mount directly into these using your stock riser caps and our longer bolts. Additional benefit may be found through the addition of a Baron Starbar handlebar (part number 595929), which works beautifully with these Riser Extensions and dramatically reduce the effort required to steer. This setup moves the rider's grip back 2 in. more and almost 3 in. lower, producing tremendous changes to the handling and comfort of your Venture! (Longer cables not required). PLEASE NOTE: These extensions are not for use with Yamaha's accessory Chrome Dash Cover, or Yamaha's one-piece riser caps. This part has been tested to work with stock control lines on Yamaha Royal Star Venture models. Our risers provide approximately 1-1/2 in. of pullback and 1-3/4 in. to the rise of stock handlebars. This repositioning of the rider's grip point reduces the stress and pain most riders feel in their neck, back and shoulders. Also, by relocating the bars closer to the rider the motorcycle becomes much easier to steer and control. Each riser has its own individual stylish cap, which lightens the look of the front end and allows mounting of a tachometer or other accessory.
