Anti-reversion design works to impede reverse flow through the system -- reverse flow can contaminate the incoming fuel/air mixture, which reduces performance and throttle response. Drag Specialties 40-Spoke Wide Rear Wheel Assembly 551241: Manufacturer part # 02040107 - Feature chrome steel rims with center metal valve stems and chrome aluminum hubs with highly polished stainless steel spokes. Hub width is measured from rotor to pulley mounting surfaces. Stock width hub (6.375") refers to the width of an OEM rear hub on a 86-04 Softail. Unique silicone sealant process allows 16" and 18" spoke wheels to be used without inner tubes. 19" and 21" wheels require the use of an inner tube. Bearings, seals and spacer included. 4.25" wheels will fit most applications by modifying the axle spacers and changing rotor and pulley spacing. 5.5", 6", 7", 8", 8.5" and 9" wheels will require above changes as well; frame, swing arm modification and fender change along with a narrower belt may also be required. Made in the U.S.A..
