Powerdrive countershaft (front) sprockets are manufactured from case-hardened chromoly steel for the ultimate in strength and durability. They also receive a parkerizing surface treatment for rust and corrosion resistance. Sunstar steel rear sprockets are manufactured from the highest quality 1045 high-carbon steel, and most are heat treated for added strength and wear resistance. Computer designed weight reduction holes are included where possible. Most rear sprockets are zinc plated, and some have a baked-on durable paint for corrosion resistance. Many conversions are available from unpopular 632 and 532 sizes to 630 and 530 sizes for better chain selection, as well as other lighter-weight options for racing. Any time you use other than the standard front/rear sprocket sizes, clearance must be checked. When converting to a smaller chain size, especially for racing, be sure to use the highest grade 0-ring chain available (non-O-ring heavy-duty acceptable for drag racing). , NOTE: At this time we are not able to specify on our website the standard tooth sizes of the sprockets or size and length of chain for your motorcycle. Refer to the Comet tuning manual to help select the proper profile. To determine the proper cam arm weight for a 108 4-PRO clutch (four cam arms), use the following formula: Weight of recommended 108-EXP cam arm (from Applications) x .855 = recommended cam arm weight for 108 4-PRO. The weight listed is their objective per arm but may vary up to .75 grams due to the variation in material density resulting from the manufacturing process. All cam arms are sold each and include the bushing (installed). Bushings are easily removable for clutches that require it. NOTE: 102-C, 108-C and 108-EXP clutches all use the same basic cam arm. However, the 1993 108-EXP clutch does not use cam arm bushings.
